More than 180,000 solar modules on 3,906 autonomous axes.
Thanks to advanced tracking technology, the number of panels required is reduced by 21%.
There are two PV farms totalling 100 kWp. It is considered a ‘normal’ PV farm in the category of large wind farms.
To achieve this power output, we have planned to install more than 180,000 high-performance, long-life solar modules on 3,900 shafts.
Thanks to the advanced solar tracking technologies that we implemented in the project, each of these shafts behaves autonomously, continuously searching for the necessary inclination to achieve the highest production, even on cloudy days when the solar radiation is not direct, it is able to take advantage of it.

CO₂ battery
It has a storage capacity of 200,000 KWh and a supply capacity of 18.4MWh per hour.
In charging mode, the CO₂-filled flexible dome stores the gas. The energy introduced compresses it, extracting heat into a thermal storage system and condensing the gas into liquid, which is stored under pressure at ambient temperature.
At discharge, the liquid CO₂ evaporates with the stored heat, expanding to drive turbines and generate electricity, returning the gas to the dome.
It differs from other technologies by using a thermodynamic cycle to charge and extract CO₂ from the gas reservoir, requiring less pressure or lower temperatures to make this change from gas to liquid.

During the day the photovoltaic system supplies energy via the existing grids, the energy that is not consumed is stored in the CO₂ battery. The energy is stored by transforming the CO₂ from the gas in the dome into a liquid state.
During the night this transformation is reversed releasing the liquid CO₂ transforming it into pressurised gas that passes through an electric turbine, generating electricity, at the end of the process this gas returns to the dome, being the production cycles infinite.

Smart Grid Software
Specific software to manage and control both the energy produced and the energy stored in order to provide a constant supply to all those who are consuming this energy.
This is a Smart Grid project to manage generation based on minute-by-minute demand. Consumption sensors will be installed in the connections of the companies connected to the plant for monitoring together with consumption prediction software based on the company’s history and other statistical data acquired through big data and managed with the help of artificial intelligence.
FAQs
Can I have my own installation for self-consumption in my building?
Yes, in fact, it is absolutely advisable, all the energy that you can self-produce will be energy that you will not have to buy, no matter how cheap it is. In this case you also save the cost of the power term. It will represent a direct saving and less dependence on third parties. We can also manage surpluses to maximise your profits. If this is your case we will make a personalised energy plan.
What happens if more people sign up than there is energy available?
A second phase is planned and will be activated as soon as the plant’s capacity is exceeded.
How will I contract electricity?
At this stage of the project, the marketing model is not fully developed. Energy packages may be contracted, or the entire management may be handed over to an electrical trading company.
The plant powers the grid for 20 hours but the day has 24 hours
There is a production of 10 hours of solar energy, the battery can supplement 10 hours more. The remaining 4 hours will be supplied by the supplier.
Can I participate in the investment?
One of the possibilities will be that you can invest in the park project, independently of the energy purchase. Please indicate this in the form. In any case, the disbursement would not be made until the construction phase starts.
When will it be ready?
It depends on the processing, financing and building permits, the Aragon government has qualified it as a project of interest and the local administration is aligned with the needs. Construction could begin in a year’s time and will take about 18 months.
What if it rains one day and the park doesn't produce as much?
There is no supply problem, the park is designed and self-managed taking into account these situations as normal.
What if there is a breakdown?
The maintenance and service will minimize potential down time and reduce interruptions on all levels, we are aware of the importance of energy so top priority goes to the smooth running of electrical needs of businesses.
